I’M HEATHER, PRINCIPAL DESIGNER AND CEO OF HEATHER BALL INTERIORS.
I’ve spent my professional career designing luxury properties, working alongside some of the biggest names in the industry. I hold a BFA in Interior Design from California State University Long Beach. For more than 2 decades, I’ve managed hundreds of redesigns and renovations for financial institutions, luxury hotels, and multi-million dollar homes, overseeing each detail to bring my clients’ visions to life.
An entrepreneur at heart, I leveraged my industry expertise to build a business of my own. Today, my clients get the resources and excellence of a big-name architecture and design firm, with the personalized service of a small business.
At Heather Ball Interiors, we pride ourselves on making renovations less stressful, more predictable, and more enjoyable. Because we understand firsthand the difference expert project management makes and why it’s so important.
Not only am I well versed in managing complex renovations and running a business, I’m also a busy parent and twin mom. (At one point, I had 4 kids under the age of 5!) I know the day-to-day pressures of your schedule — what it’s like running your children to a plethora of activities and running a successful business.
I’ve seen prospective clients opt for a more “budget friendly” design option, only to return to us later for future projects. Once they understand firsthand how chaotic a renovation can be — and the difference a professional design team makes — they never go back.
That’s why I’m so passionate about what I do. I love making my clients’ lives easier, taking as much of the renovation process off their plate as possible. So clients like you can build the home or the business of your dreams — without disrupting your already-busy life.
When I’m not immersed in client work, I’m likely at my favorite Barre or Pilates class, unwinding at the beach, or enjoying a bike ride with my family. You may also see me on the sidelines of my kids’ sports fields: rooting for my favorite soccer players, cheering at their baseball game, or running across the course of their Cross Country meet.
My creativity extends beyond interiors, which is why you can often find me, brush in hand, working on my latest painting, or in the garden. I love to fuel my creativity with new experiences. Traveling is a passion I grew up with, and I always love planning our next adventure. Today, travels around the globe are my favorite way to gather inspiration for new and exciting designs.

When I’m not creating plans at Heather Ball Interiors or donning a hard hat on construction sites, I’m also an interior design instructor at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, CA. I love helping raise up the next passionate generation of interior designers, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to cheer them on as they achieve national awards of their own.
